Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect at my first appointment?

We will perform an extensive assessment digging deeper into your presenting condition, injury history, and medical history. We will also get to know you - what impact this injury has had on your life, and most importantly, your goals.

We will rule out serious conditions and then perform a comprehensive physical assessment measuring your range of motion and strength, and analysing your posture and movement patterns. Based on these findings we will develop a plan that includes manual therapy and exercise prescription to achieve your goals.

If you decide to continue working with Rehab Potential, you will understand exactly what that will entail regarding timeline and cost.

Can I use my private health cover?

Yes. We will help you submit your invoice so you can maximise your reimbursement. We always recommend discussing with your insurer first as each health cover policy differ.

Do you accept disability insurance schemes (NDIS, NIISQ)?

Yes. Rehab Potential is not yet a registered NDIS provider however, we are able to work with clients through NDIS who are plan managed or self funded. We are able to see clients funded through the National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland (NIISQ).

Do I need to sign up to a multi-session package?

No. For some problems it will only take 2-3 sessions to provide a long lasting solution. In this situation you are able to pay per session. If you do not wish to purchase a multi-session package you are able to pay per session.

How are you managing the risk of COVID-19?
